De Richard Mille RM 40-01 replica McLaren Speedtail horloge is een kunstwerk geïnspireerd op de legendarische Speedtail supercar. De druppelvormige kast met afmetingen 48,25 x 41,80 mm is een replica van de gestroomlijnde voorkant van de auto. De knoppen aan de rechterzijde imiteren de uitlaatpijpen, en de lijnen op de wijzerplaat om 6 uur emuleren de achterremlichten van de auto in een samensmelting van autodesign en horlogemakerij vakmanschap.
Het beschikt over een opengewerkt uurwerk dat de verbluffende tourbillon beweging onthult, met sterke Arabische cijfers en een datumaanduiding op 12 uur voor extra functionaliteit. De Richard Mille RM 40-01 replica is ondergebracht in een stevige roestvrijstalen kast en heeft een zachte zwarte rubberen band. Het overbrugt de kloof tussen sportieve looks en dagelijks gebruik.
